Self-hosting
Find the current installation path and understand the operational work that comes with self-hosting.
Use the instructions for your environment
The public repository is the source of truth for current installation requirements. Read its setup and self-hosting pages before choosing Docker Compose or a direct service installation. Check the current release and supported platform instead of relying on an older copied command.
Plan for operations
A self-hosted installation makes you responsible for network access, sign-in, engine installation, secret handling, updates, storage and backups. Keep the service behind HTTPS when accessed remotely and restrict access to the people who should use it.
Understand the current limits
The self-hosted product is designed around one owner. Do not treat it as a multi-user hosted service. Real-provider, VPS, platform and packaged-app checks are tracked separately; a source installation is not evidence that every deployment path is qualified.
