Guide
How hosted workspaces work.
Understand sandbox setup, sleeping, waking and provider requirements in Suparagent.
The browser is your entry point
Your browser connects to the hosted service, which routes your app session to a sandbox for your account. Agents run inside that environment, not automatically on your laptop. The preview uses your Boat key; paid plans use compute managed by the hosted service when enabled.
An environment can sleep
An idle sandbox can stop and resume on the next visit. The hosted preview also includes waking for scheduled routines and webhook requests. Webhook senders need retries while waking; a first request may receive 503. Long-running work across idle transitions is still being qualified.
Know what you own
The machine profile includes a fixed-size disk, not a metered storage allowance. Existing preview workspaces remain on the Boat account where they were created. Provider-side disk expiry or deletion can lose files; back up important outputs outside the sandbox and review retention terms.
