Agents, teams and rooms

Give an agent a clear role, then organize related work in a team and project room.

Give each agent a clear job

An agent combines its instructions, selected engine and available tools. Describe the result you want, the material it may use and what it should return. Keep the first task narrow enough to review.

  • Name the outcome and the expected format.
  • Tell the agent how to handle missing or uncertain information.
  • State which actions need your review.

Use a team for distinct responsibilities

A team groups agents that can contribute to related work. A lead can break a larger request into parts for specialists, such as collecting sources and checking a draft. Add a second agent when its handoff is clear and useful.

Keep project discussion in a room

Rooms keep a project conversation and its selected members together. Use the room’s mention or assignment flow to direct work to a member. Some team agents are intended to be engaged from a room rather than through a separate direct chat.

Review the handoff

Ask the specialist for a concrete deliverable, such as source links, a short analysis or a draft. Check that material before the next agent relies on it. Keep private or unrelated project information out of rooms where it is not needed.
