Product / Browser Control
Let agents work with pages and files.
Understand browser and computer tools, their deployment requirements and approval settings.
Give the agent a bounded task
Browser and computer tooling can help an agent inspect pages and work through a task. Availability depends on the engine and deployment. Explain which site, files and actions are in scope, then ask for a record of what it changed.
Use the right environment
A cloud sandbox and your local desktop are different computers. A hosted agent does not automatically see the files, browser logins or applications on your laptop. Provide only the material needed for the job and verify the tools available in that environment.
Review consequential actions
Set approvals before allowing an agent to change files or use connected services. Engine behavior and tool support differ. Native macOS control, saved website logins and some Codex computer workflows still have qualification or implementation work remaining.
